PWS Drain Surveys
If you are thinking about buying a house which is not connected to the mains sewer, how do you know that the system is operating? Septic tanks and soakaways are traditionally used in rural villages and are none to fail periodically, once this happens, it can mean expensive de-sludging (approx £130 every 2 weeks) or installing a new system which may involve purchasing third party land. We provide an in depth technical report, and DVD of the underground pipework, which includes budget costs for remedial work.
Our Other Services:
Environmental Management Systems 14001
EMS's are becoming more prevalent and if you are planning on dealing with larger companies one of these are now being requested to prove your company's environmental ethos and commitment to reducing energy and waste. We can now provide as much or as little support to help your company achieve the International Standard of ISO 14001.
Premier Water Solutions (PWS)
was founded in January 2008 by Louisa Inch in Somerset. The ethos of the company is to deliver a technically sound, environmental consultancy, delivering projects on time and without charging the earth. During our pre-start-up discussions it became apparent that there was a gap in the market for a small consultancy company where the client is able to contact the project manager easily for project updates. Thus we have made client contact and approachability one of our main priorities. We specialise in Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, Foul Water Design and Planning Aplications.
Our Awards and Progress so Far
Premier Water Solutions came 3rd in the Mendip “New Business of the Year” category in the Somerset Business Awards 2009.
Premier Water Solutions was awarded “highly commended” in the Environmental Business Award at the Western Gazette Yeovil Business Awards 2010.
Llyods Bank commercial section picked Premier Water Solutions to use as a case study to show how a business loan provided by them during the recession was used to successfully grow the business. We borrowed £10k to purchase the full suite of Micro Drainage design and drawing hydraulic modelling software to ensure that all of our sites can be assessed using the latest technology. It is generally accepted that to discharge conditions with the Environment Agency they will only now really accept calculations undertaken by this type of software.
